Donation of sanitary towels to schoolgirls in the villages

According to statistics, most of the underprivileged girls lose 4 to 5 days of school every month during menstruation. That’s approximately 39 days of learning each year. That’s a lot of school missed! Unfortunately, in Africa young girls mostly share their sanitary towels (usually rags and scrap cloth) with their mothers or other women in the household. Of course, they wash them between uses, but venereal diseases can be transmitted through sharing.

Some children may have special educational needs because their disabilities affect their ability to learn. Over 90% of children with disabilities do not attend school worldwide.
