Event Description
The history of Jina Golden
In the early 1970s, one son of the late Mzee John Abiya, Maurice Vincent Odera, brought extraordinary enthusiasm to Jina Village. He created a unique sports and celebration day that brought both young and old together. Every December, people working outside Jina Village and its surrounding areas would return home to take part in this special festival that brought the entire village to a standstill.
