Lunch Program for the less-privileged pupils
We are starting with our "luchbox-programm" for the needy pupils at Orongo Primary School (Kisumu, Kenya). It came to our realisation that many students come from very poor families, and they go to school on an empty stomach due to everyday life challenges.
Many students choose to take a “poverty nap” during their lunch break to help them overcome or ignore hunger pains. Try to imagine how it feels.
We're already providing basic education to many of such needy students, but those who can't afford even a simple meal needs at least a lunch box support as well.
We ask well-wishers and donors to support this campaign. Help us make learning easier for these motivated students in need. For them to achieve their goal of at least primary education.
In order to reduce suffering and enable the children to learn without a rumbling stomach, we should support their first basic need: which is food. Let’s show them love and support.
